Thai Egg Fried Rice
Notes
Although it is not necessary. It is best to prepare the rice a few days in advance for the best results.
Ingredients
- 800 grams steamed jasmine rice.
- 400 grams King prawns.
- 10 grams garlic, chopped.
- 1 tomato cubed.
- 10 grams spring onions, cut into 2 cm long pieces.
- 4 eggs.
- 2 tbs soy Thai sauce.
- 1 tbs fish sauce
- Freshly ground pepper.
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Heat oil in a saucepan add prawns and sauté until the prawns have a medium cook.
- Put the prawns the side.
- Add the eggs to the saucepan and mix with the rice.
- Add seasoning to taste with pepper, Thai sauce, and fish sauce.
- Lastly add the tomato cubes and spring onions.
- For garnishing put the lime wedges on the side of the serving plate and serve hot.
