Thai Egg Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 800 Grams 800 steamed jasmine rice

  • 400 Grams 400 King prawns

  • 10 Grams 10 garlic, chopped

  • 1 1 tomato cubed

  • 10 Grams 10 spring onions, cut into 2 cm long pieces

  • 4 4 eggs

  • 2 tbs 2 Thai soy sauce

  • 1 tbs 1 fish sauce

  • 2 tbs 2 vegetable oil for frying

  • Freshly ground pepper

  • 1 1 Lime cut into wedges

Directions

  • Heat oil in a saucepan add prawns and sauté until the prawns have a medium cook.
  • Put the prawns on the side
  • Add the eggs to the saucepan and mix with the rice
  • Add seasoning to taste with pepper, Thai sauce, and fish sauce
  • Lastly, add the tomato cubes and spring onions
  • For garnishing put the lime wedges on the side of the serving plate and serve hot

Notes

  • Although it is not necessary. It is best to prepare the rice a few days in advance for the best results.
