minutesEasy Recipe For Chicken Curry Without Coconut Milk, Try this easy Chicken curry recipe that has great flavor but is a simple quick way to make weeknight or weekend dinners with little effort.
Ingredients
1 tbsp 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
1 1 Onion diced
1 1 Garlic clove crushed
1 tsp 1 tsp Gara Masala
1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp Chilli Powder
1 tsp 1 tsp Ground Ginger
1 tsp 1 tsp Ground Corriander
1 tsp 1 tsp Ground Cumin
1 tsp 1 tsp Tumeric
1 1 Fresh Red Chilli Deseeded
400 Grams 0.9 Ounces Chopped Tomatoes
200 Grams 0.45 Ounces Small Mushrooms Halved
350 Grams 12 Ounces Chicken Breast (Diced) Skinless and Boneless
150 Mililiters 0.5 Cup Chicken Stock
150 Grams 0.30 Ounces Half Fat Creme Fraiche
1 Pinch 1 Pinch Salt
1 Pinch 1 Pinch Fresh Ground Pepper
Directions
- Add the chicken to the spices and mix them together.
- Peel and finely slice the onion, and grate garlic and ginger.
- Heat the Vegetable Oil in a Large Pan and fry the onion. Once softened add the garlic and ginger and fry for approximately 2-3 mins until softened and slightly browned.
- Add the chicken to the pan mix well with the onions, cook for about a minute then add half the stock.
- Cook for 2 minutes whilst stirring.
- Mix in the rest of the stock and cook for a further 2 minutes whilst stirring.
- Add the Tomatoes, fresh chili (if you are using them) mushrooms bring to a boil, and then simmer.
- Add salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for a further 25-30 mins. mins until you have a rich sauce.
- Remove from heat and stir in the crème Fraiche.
- Serve with rice.
- You can leave the curry and then reheat it when ready.

Notes
- The sauce will naturally thin as it cooks due to the water in the mushrooms. (these can be left out and if the sauce is too thick add a little more water or stock to thin the sauce.
- You can alter all the spices to your taste. Add more or less fresh chili if you want and make it to your own taste.
