Is BMI an Accurate Measurement?

To get a healthy weight range for a particular height, BMI takes into account natural variations in body shape.

Other Factors are also taken into account when assessing if you are a healthy weight, as well measuring your BMI.

Because muscle is much denser and therefore, heavier than fat, very muscular people, such as athletes, weight trainers and heavyweight boxers, may be a healthy weight even though their BMI is classed as obese.
