Ingredients
200 Grams 200 Chickpeas
1/2 tbs 1/2 Olive Oil
1/2 tbs 1/2 paprika
1/4 tbs 1/4 cayenne pepper
1/2 tbs 1/2 pepper
Dash of salt
large pita bread
4 tbs 4 tzatziki
1/2 1/2 medium red onion
1 1 Small lettuce, Chopped
1 1 medium tomato
Directions
- Drain and rinse the chickpeas and pat the chickpeas dry with a paper towel. Remove any skins that may come off.
- Spread chickpeas onto a greased-rimmed baking sheet and roast at 400 degrees F (200 C) for about 20 minutes, until lightly browned but not hard.
- In the meantime, Chop the lettuce leaves, slice the tomatoes and red onions then set aside.
- Gently toss chickpeas with oil, paprika, black pepper, cayenne pepper, red onions, and salt.
- Spread some tzatziki onto one side of a pita, then sprinkle in ¼ of the chickpeas and lettuce, and tomatoes. Fold in half and enjoy!
