Recipe Roasted Chickpea Vegan Wraps

Ingredients

  • 200 Grams 200 Chickpeas

  • 1/2 tbs 1/2 Olive Oil

  • 1/2 tbs 1/2 paprika

  • 1/4 tbs 1/4 cayenne pepper

  • 1/2 tbs 1/2 pepper

  • Dash of salt

  • large pita bread

  • 4 tbs 4 tzatziki

  • 1/2 1/2 medium red onion

  • 1 1 Small lettuce, Chopped

  • 1 1 medium tomato

Directions

  • Drain and rinse the chickpeas and pat the chickpeas dry with a paper towel. Remove any skins that may come off.
  • Spread chickpeas onto a greased-rimmed baking sheet and roast at 400 degrees F (200 C) for about 20 minutes, until lightly browned but not hard.
  • In the meantime, Chop the lettuce leaves, slice the tomatoes and red onions then set aside.
  • Gently toss chickpeas with oil, paprika, black pepper, cayenne pepper, red onions, and salt.
  • Spread some tzatziki onto one side of a pita, then sprinkle in ¼ of the chickpeas and lettuce, and tomatoes. Fold in half and enjoy!
